For us, the responsible handling of personal information collected in the course of the operations of our organisation is essential for our objectives and reputation. Information which you give us in connection with entering into a supply or cooperation contract, including contact information (job, job title, first name, middle name(s), surname, address, telephone number and email address), information which you give us concerning your preferences in relation to marketing or communication, as well as information which you give us if you contact us with a question, in order to report a problem or in general when you contact us as part of our cooperation.
Information which we collect and process when you visit our homepage
Information about the way you navigate to and on our homepages, information about your computer, device and browser, including in some instances your IP address, browser type and other hardware and software information. If you access our homepage from a mobile device, we may also collect a unique identification number assigned to your device.
Use of your personal information
IFC processes your personal information with a view to fulfil the purposes indicated. Please note that not all purposes indicated, categories of information, recipients of information or types of processing information may be applicable to your case.

Administration of supplier and partner relations - IFC processes your personal information in relation to the administration of supplier and/or business partner relations where you are a supplier or a business partner or a contact person with a supplier or a business partner with whom IFC works as part of the operations of our organisation, including maintenance of our registers with information about our contact persons with our suppliers and business partners.
Running and maintenance of our homepages – Procurement of our online services, including support of the continued assessment and improvement of our homepages.
Observance of current laws and rules
Observance of laws and rules to which IFC is submitted in connection with the operations of the company or for the fulfilment of various reporting or information duties resting with IFC.
IFC does not use your personal information for making decisions solely based on automatic processing, including profiling.
IFC strives to ensure that all personal information which we process is correct and updated. We therefore ask you to always inform us of any changes in your circumstances (i.e. change of email address or payment information) so that we may ensure the information always being correct and updated.
Legal basis for processing of your personal information
Basically, IFC processes information about you on the following basis: (1) You have consented to the processing of your personal information for one or more specific purposes (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter a, (2) entering into or fulfilling your membership contract with IFC (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter b), (3) consideration to the legal interests of IFC, i.e. the above purposes (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter f), and/or (4) fulfilling a legal obligation to which IFC is submitted (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter c). Furthermore, there may be situations where we process your personal information with a view to a third party’s legal interests in relation to purposes described above unless consideration of your interests weighs more heavily (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter f).
Sharing personal information
IFC only passes on information when it is necessary for the operations of our company.
Furthermore, IFC may pass on and/or hand over your personal information to other suppliers and/or service providers in connection with the ordinary operations of our organisation.
To the greatest extent possible, IFC strives to limit the passing on of personal information in a personally identifiable format in order to limit the number of cases where information is passed which may identify your person.
IFC does not pass on your personal information unless it is required in order for us to carry out our business or fulfil your requirements.

- Third parties outside the EU/EEA

Data integrity and security
Personal information is kept no longer than required for fulfilling the purposes for which it was collected unless keeping it is required in order to fulfil national legal requirements, including the mandatory storage periods in connection with accounts etc.
It is the policy of IFC to protect personal information by taking sufficient technical and organisational security measures. When there is no longer any need for your personal information, we shall ensure that it is safely deleted.
Your rights
You have at any time the right to claim your rights according to the data protection legislation in force at the time in question. Among other things you may ask for insight into the personal information which IFC has, as well as you may oppose the processing of the information. Furthermore, you may ask for correction or deletion of any incorrect information about yourself, to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal information as well as claim your rights as far as data portability is concerned.
